1. BLACK MAN FOUND HANGING FROM A TREE IN MISSISSIPPI By: Garrett Wyatt

2.  An African American man was found on Thursday hanging from a tree in Claiborne County, Mississippi. The officials were out searching for a man who had went missing earlier this month. The body was found with a bead sheet around the neck and wearing a skull cap. Authorities believe that the body is 54-year old Otis Byrd. The FBI has not yet determined if he has taken his own life or if he was killed.

5.  He was fully clothed and his hands were not tied as if there was no struggle. However, His face was covered and had a mask over his face as if someone else had done it. The fact that he was hung from a tree shows a racist act.

7. PROMPT  Does skin color still effect the way that people are viewed? Do black people still get harmed because of their color either emotionally or physically? Defend, refute, or qualify whether or not people are still discriminated based on their skin color.
