TURN-AROUND EXECUTION PROCESS Red Phase: Crisis Management Amber Phase: Stabilisation Green Phase: Sustainability 1. Develop agreed turn-around plan/implementation matrix. 2. Set up PMO structure and governance. 3. Status quo assessment against ideal DWCPD. 4. High level review of strategic plan and business model. 5. Develop and implement an action plan for addressing audit findings. 6. Secure funding for the over- expenditure (personnel). 7. Focus on quick wins. 8. Strengthen governance structures. 9. Monitor progress, achievements and impact. 1. Assess planning, governance and management processes. 2. Organisational assessment for alignment with strategic plan and business model. 3. Assess capacity and skills. 4. Strengthen monitoring, evaluation and individual performance management. 5. Focus on operational optimisation and sound financial management. 6, Leverage donor projects and partnerships with sister departments on women, children and people with disabilities. 1. Position for sustainability and growth. 2. Institutionalise turn-around plan and improvements. 3. Implement strategic plan and business model. 4. Sustainability plans of business model. 5. Focus on change management 6. Phase out external assistance (NT, STATSA and consultants). 7. Achieve unqualified audit with no findings. 8. Build the ideal DWCPD.
