We use the word probably when there is some level of ignorance as to what an outcome will be.

“Probably” The final exam will probably be hard. It will probably rain today. I will probably go to the market tomorrow. 3 plus 4 is probably 7.

A Simple Experiment Flip a Coin Two possible outcomes: heads or tails The set S={head, tail} is called the sample space of the experiment. A sample space is a set that contains all the possible simple outcomes for a particular experiment.
