6 VIRTUAL REGULAR CREDIT COURSE VIRTUAL CREDIT RECOVERY COURSE Reading level grade appropriateReading level typically two grades lower Courses begin in various waysCourses begin with pre- assessment of student knowledge. Students must cover all material even if they already know the material Adaptive release so students only repeat material not mastered previously Courses are designed to complete in same time frame as public school courses Mastery based – students can retake assessments to help master content; no time limit No cost unless more than 10 students are enrolled in a particular course $75 per each.5 credit course What’s the difference in a credit recovery course?
