4 Living Organisms Sea Star sea star grow back lost parts. Their veins are filled with water. The don’t just have one color, they have multiple colors.

5 Living Organisms Catalina island fox The Catalina island fox are only found on Catalina. They are an endangered species. They are only 36in. Tall.

6 Fauna Toyon Tree The Toyon tree’s berries are poisonous unless they are cooked. When the branches are burned they give off a poisonous smoke. The natives used it to make the boys into men.

7 Fauna Bull Kelp Bull kelp can grow up to six feet a day. The air sack is bigger than a baseball. It is more sturdy than regular kelp.

8 Fauna Catalina Cherry Tree The Catalina cherry tree is only fond on Catalina. The seed takes up most of the berry. The berries are bitter in taste.

9 Natural Phenomena Sun Rise The sun rise mean that earth is rotating around the sun. It takes 360 days for the earth to go around the sun. It means that the sun is not rotating around the earth.

10 Natural Phenomena Sea star eating a fish The sea star the fish because it has to eat. It is also is the way of life. It also means that a slow animal can be catch a fast animal.

11 Natural Phenomena A Bison Foot print This shows that bison are really heavy. This also shows that they are big. This also shows what way it was going.

13 Science Attitude In Catalina In this class we got to cut open a squid. The squid was a chance to look inside an animal. We also learned about all the different parts of a squid. Squid dissection

14 Science Attitude In Catalina Rudy is on the bus ready for Catalina. He is exited to go to Catalina. He is ready to go to Catalina and lean. Rudy Exited

15 Summary During my time at Catalina I learned a lot about all kinds of animals and things that will hurt them like DDT. Also when at Catalina we got to look inside a squid and learn a lot about them. I also got to go snorkeling and see animals in their natural habitat and during kayaking I got to see a Grate Blue Haring. During Catalina I learned a lot about the Catalina animals and the environment.
