Consortium of 191 Universities & Research Institutions Executive Committee (elected, 2-year terms) : Zhong Lu (Southern Methodist University); Franz Meyer (University of Alaska); Gareth Funning (University of California, Riverside); Ingrid Johanson (USGS HVO); Christelle Wauthier (Pennsylvania State University); Matthew Pritchard (Cornell University); Eric Fielding (JPL) Hosted by UNAVCO in Boulder, Colorado. UNAVCO provides organizational and operational support for WInSAR activities, including membership administration, financial management, data management and archiving, and software tools for data exploration and access. WInSAR Highlights in 2015 Request and extend TSX tasking by 500 credits We urge that PIs who have requested tasking of TSX data should write archive proposals to bring the data to the WInSAR archive at UAVCO Facilitate TSX/ALOS-2 data download and sharing among co-PIs We urge that PIs please add UNAVCO as an co-PI after their ALOS-2 proposals are approved so that UNAVCO can help the data download/sharing among approved co-PIs. NISAR Update - Paul Rosen Major progress since last year! Held successful KDP-B to enter Phase B in Feb 2015 Selected reflector contractor (NGAS) Selected solid state recorder contractor (to be announced in Jan) Detailed configuration of observatory Now in review season leading to PDR in June 2016 So far, no descopes to observatory or planned observations Settled on a systematic observation strategy to strobe all land and ice twice every 12 days Challenges exist on the cost and ISRO requirements, but so far so good: all systems go.
