To maintain the privacy of your health information To provide a notice of our private practices and your private rights. THE INTERVIEW SETTING GOALS & CHALLENGES At first my interview was with Executive Director Geoffrey Henry Developing & Enhancing Skills for Administrative Duties Learning the Responsibilities of an Executive Director Obtaining Knowledge on how to run a nursing home facility

Working through personal issues during internship period Not having liable transportation Not being able to stay longer when they needed me or not being available to report more often Lacking flexibility and availability due to me having fulltime employment

When I did report I gave it 110% and worked hard I process great interpersonal skills I am a team player I am good problem solver I have a warm personality

Millcroft is a for profit Nursing Community for the Elderly It is a five star Elderly Care Living Facility with three levels of Care: Health Care Assisted Living Independent Living Residents are served from De & All other States Over 65% of the residents are over poverty level Millcroft does not receive any state or federal financial assistance

Gathering Data- Mrs. Margaret was one of the first resident’s I was introduced to. Reflecting - Had conversations with her and she never seemed to be a bother. Identifying Relevant- Understood that I did not know the resident’s issues or restriction

Examining Dissonance- the nursing staff explained she is always thirty, always has to go to the bathroom because she drinks a lot Articulating Learning- I did not know the residents restriction nor did it set well with me that they would not either correct or give attention to her request Developing a plan- I don’t think she was being abused, but could have been handled differently
