2.  He was Born on June 24, 1895 in the town of Manassas,Colorado.  Jack died on may 31 st,1983 and was buried at the Southampton cemetery in New York.  His occupation was a professional heavyweight boxer.

3.  Dempsy had ten brothers and sisters.  He started training for boxing at the age of 16.  On dempsy’s 75 he was invited to madison square garden where 15,000 people sang happy birthday to him.
