2 PACT PAROLE AND COMMUNITY TEAM Run by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Division of Adult Parole Operations Provides newly released parolees with information and services to assist them in completing their parole requirements and becoming productive members of society.

3 PURPOSE OF PACT Enhance public safety by stabilizing and facilitating community reintegration efforts for parolees within 30 to 60 days of their release to community.

4 COMPONENTS OF PACT Scheduled meetings Facilitate reintegration into society “One Stop Shopping” location Educate parolees about community services

5 WHO PARTICIPATES Community Organizations –Share information about their services. Organizations that attend: –Recovery Support Groups –Church Groups –EDD/Vocational programs –Education programs –Transitional housing –Gang Intervention programs –Public Health –Child Support Services

6 REQUIREMENT OF ATTENDEES Sign in and attend mandatory PACT meeting. Visit a number of representatives from each organization and have assessment sheet signed. Turn in signed off assessment sheet and check out before leaving.
