Definite article What is it? Means “The” Used before a noun to express something that has been previously considered Ex) The door

French Definite Articles Le = masculine (ex. Le vélo) La = Feminine (ex. La glace) L’ = in front of vowels (ex. L’école) Les = plural (ex. Les amis) *notice that “amis” starts with a vowel, but because it is plural it must use “LES”
