1. Candy Engineers

2. I WONDER Today during our Innovation Hour we talked about what engineers do. We said that engineers help solve problems and design structures such as bridges and buildings. The students were given a small bag of candy pumpkins and toothpicks and were told to design any structure of their choice. You could have heard a pin drop as they worked. Their creativity and problem solving was so amazing to watch. Many quickly realized that in order to make their structure more stable they needed to add more toothpicks.
