SUMMER CALENDAR  Practices are Tuesdays-Thursday 8-10:30am at CMS unless otherwise marked (on June 10 th we will be practicing 3-5:30pm at CMS)  Varsity Away Camp in Lake Geneva: June 14-17 th (more camp info to follow later)  JV and Varsity IN HOUSE camp: TBD  Homecoming Choreography: July 28 th -30 th 9-1pm  Cheer will start the normal school hours of 3-5:30pm on Monday, August 10 th, Mondays or Wednesdays may be late days in September depending on the building calendar  Just planning ahead:  All football games are on Friday nights. Do not plan trips during late August-October.  Homecoming is Friday, October 2 nd, 2015.

4. RULES AND EXPECTATIONS  You and your daughter have already signed off on the rules and expectations of CHS cheer.  Top 3 issues:  Academics  C’s and above to participate. If D or F, cheerleader will be required to go to teacher for help 3x/week after school to participate in practices and games.  Attendance  Cheerleader must notify coach AHEAD of time. We should never wonder where you are!  Attire  If cheerleader loses any item, a replacement will be ordered. If cheerleaders do not bring their complete uniform (including bow), they may not be able to participate.

5. CONDITIONING AND FLEXIBILITY See attached handouts. Please encourage your daughter to condition and stretch at home—and eat well!

6. BOOSTERS  Thank you to Kristen Rosenberg for being our Cheer Boosters rep!  To cover expenses during the year, each cheerleader will be required to give:  $5 per girl for Booster Draw Down Basket  $5 per girl for senior gifts  $5 per girl for coaches gifts  Items needed per girl for goodie bags for opposing teams:  juice boxes  individually wrapped snacks (cheez its, granola bars, etc) or a bag of individually wrapped candy (hard candy, bit size candy bars, etc).  We will also be working the Jacob Frazier Golf Outing on September 12 th.

7. COST  Each cheerleader has their OWN separate ledger (will be given the 1 st day of practice in June)  Payment plans (spread through the season or year) are available if you contact me.  Competition add-ons (Bows for Varsity and Shoes for all), will be added later  If you have any questions, please let me know.  Varsity Cheerleaders need to pay $250 for camp by June 3 rd.

10. EMERGENCY INFORMATION CARDS Please take the next few minutes to fill the Emergency Information Card out. These are helpful during outside practices and on the road! Athletics will also give us a similar emergency card.
