2  ALL images need to be cited-even public domain  Use the free resources on the Media Center website  Creative Commons - Flickr  Wikimedia Commons  Why?  They are easiest to cite.  Do NOT use Google Images  Why? They carry viruses which slow down the computer

3 Uncheck for commercial purposes Click on Flickr

5  Click on Some rights reservedSome rights reserved  You are free to:  Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format  Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material  Attribution-GIVE CREDIT by citing

6  Open your project  Bibliography  Photo or image (born digital)  Fill in the boxes

7  Name of the Website: Flickr  Publisher: Yahoo  Date of e-publication: below the right corner of the photo  URL: copy and paste the URL  Artist: First and Last  below the left corner of the photo  Username: put in the last box  Type of image: photograph  Title: below the photographer’s name  SUBMIT

8  Search  Scroll down to the bottom of the page.  Choose your image  Publisher: Wikimedia

11  Choose download  Size: 512  Right click –save image as  Locate your H drive  Give it a unique name  Save

12  Choose the download-lower right of picture  Open with-Microsoft Picture Manager  File-save as  Give it a unique name  Save
