3.  Did the info in the source teach me something new?  Is it similar to another source?

4.  What can I find out by Googling the author?  If there is not author what is the organization or website?

5.  What is the thesis?  Are there facts?  Is there an argument?  Is there a narrative structure?

6.  Does the author use jargon?  Is it a specialized magazine?

7.  Is the example appropriate?  Is it specific or vague?  Is the information current?

8.  Does he/she cite sources the way his/her profession should? Newspaper articles (in the body), blogs (hyperlink), journals (APA or MLA)
