1. Saving and Retrieving Farm Areas

2. The farm area function enables you to save search results from the Search Results screen and save them for future use. For example, a farm area could be all properties in a zip code, properties based on specific criteria, all properties in a village or town, properties in a school district -- whatever you choose. The farm area function enables you to save search results from the Search Results screen and save them for future use. 3. To create a farm area, perform a search. From the Search Results screen, you can select properties to save as a farm area. To create a farm area, perform a search. From the Search Results screen, you can select properties to save as a farm area.

4. Click on File on the menu bar. Click on Save as Farm Area to view the following options, which enable you to define which properties from your Search Results screen you want to save as a farm area for future use: Click on File on the menu bar. 5. To save ALL PARCELS as a farm area on your Search Results screen Properties, click on ALL PARCELS. To save only HIGHLIGHTED PARCELS as a farm area, click on HIGHLIGHTED PARCELS. To save only TAGGED PARCELS as a farm area, click on TAGGED PARCELS. To save the CURRENT PARCEL only as a farm area, click on CURRENT PARCEL. To save the SUBJECT PARCEL as a farm area, click on SUBJECT PARCEL.

6. After selecting one of the Farm Area options, you will receive the following Farm File Save box: After selecting one of the Farm Area options, you will receive the following Farm File Save box: NOTE: A list of all currently saved farm areas can be viewed by clicking on the down arrow to the right of the File space.

7. Type in what you would like to name the farm area, and, if necessary, a description of the farm area. In this case, the user has named the file Canal Fulton Properties and an entry has been made in the "description" box. Click OK to save the selected parcels as a farm area. 8. To retrieve a saved farm area, click on the Farm Area button found on the column of General Criteria. To retrieve a saved farm area, click on the Farm Area button found on the column of General Criteria.
