Secondary Ability: Flying Able to generate a lift force to propel herself into the air at a velocity of 25 m/s, the average horizontal speed of a peregrine falcon (fastest bird).

4. The Executioner Name: The Executioner Type: Human Brute / God Hunter Primary Ability: Superjump / Superspeed Able to jump a maximum of 10x his height. (20 m) Able to run a maximum of 25 m/s, about 5x the maximum human sprinting speed. Secondary: Heat Generation Able to heat up objects by rapidly vibrating its atoms. Gear: Battle Axe

5. Freya – Background Info. Freya is the only child of her human father, Magnus Björnsen, and Valkyrie mother (a flying creature of Norse lore that carried humans to the afterlife). She is one of the last of her kind, intermixing between deities and humans having been stigmatized long ago. She inherited her mother’s wings and ability to manipulate metal objects (born out of a Valkyrie’s need to hoist armour-clad warriors to Valhalla).

6. Executioner – Background Info. The Executioner, as he is known (having lost his name when he donned his axe and armour), is a human brute hell-bent on purging Earth of creatures such as Freya. Freya has eluded him for many decades as he has hunted her kind into near-extinction. Born out of medieval experimentation with alchemy and witchcraft, he has acquired superhuman strength, giving him unparalleled jumping and sprinting, in both power and endurance.

15. Plot Outline The Executioner, a so-called “God Hunter”, catches up with Luminus, a prey he has hunted for many years. Luminus is the last of her kind, a half- human/half-Valkyrie. Luminus uses her flight ability to attempt to flee from her foe. The Executioner runs and jumps up to meet her, attempting to strike with his axe. Luminus uses her magnetokinesis ability to disarm the Executioner and force him to the ground, tangled in his own armour. The Executioner extricates himself from his armour using his heat generation power; at this point, our two superbeings realize they are characters in a fighting video game, due to the joystick and button icons appearing above their heads during combat.

16. Plot Outline, cont. The two characters decide to join forces in order to escape the game in which they are programmed. The Executioner and Luminus fight Matrix-inspired digital agents hell- bent on forcing the characters to conform. Our two unlikely allies incite a revolution, inspiring the other characters of the game to join them as they escape the program. Triumphant, the Executioner throws down his axe and joins the other characters in a jubilant celebration. Fade-to-black / digital gibberish
