In the novel, the Logans must deal with racism, the threat of losing their land, and find a means to protect their children.

11 Thesis Statement 4 Argumentative - requires you to make a claim about an argument and justify it with valid reasons and evidence 4 Sample: The Logans should take a stand and not shop at the Wallace store because the Wallaces are racists, violent people and a threat to African Americans in the community.
