Method: Case study of 10 schools whose aboriginal students made significant progress.

Sharing our Success Research questions What do schools, where Aboriginal students are experiencing success, have in common? What practices and characteristics appear to promote success? What can be learned from these sites that can be translated to other situations? What are the implications for policy and practice?

Exercise Get into groups of 8. As a group you will be gathering information on the pattern categories. Decide who is going to research which category. Break into category groups. Read about the patterns identified in your category Summarize the key concepts in your pattern category. Go back to main group and share the information from each category. Create a poster that summarizes the key concepts from the report.
