The top 10 songs during 1965 were the most popular songs during that year. Some examples of those songs can be found on the cover page of the magazine. The Beatles were one of the most popular bands during 1965. Out of the top 10 songs they made two songs, Yesterday and Help!. Rolling stones were also one of the most popular bands during 1965. They only one song here is the one they made: (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction. There were a lot of bands that were popular during this year but there is only the top ten songs on the cover. Dune tells the story of young boy named Paul, the apprentice to Duke. As his family accepts control of their planet that is just plain dust. Mélange (one of their spices) is the most important and valuable substance in the universe. The story explores the multi-layered interactions of politics, religion, technology, and human emotion, as people try to gain control of their planet and its spice. Franklin Patrick Herbert, Jr. (October 8, 1920 – February 11, 1986) was a successful American Sci-Fi author. Though also a short story, he is best known for his novels, [3] most popular Dune and its five parts. It deals with themes such as human survival and religion, politics and power. Dune is the "best-selling Sci-Fi novel of all time," and the series is widely considered to be among the classics in the genre. [3]

Lyndon B. Johnson was the president of the US during the year of 1965. He was born on August 27, 1908. He was a Texas Democrat and a Senator from 1949–1961. During his presidency he was involved in the Vietnam War. Before he was president, Kennedy was killed. About 2 hrs Lyndon became president. He died January 22, 1973. The people loved him because he loved giving gifts to the people such as tooth brushes. Some social issues that were going on during this time was the Civil rights Movements. It was a struggle to the African Americans because they were trying to get people to think of the equal rights for men. They also wanted them to think about the first paragraph of the declaration of independence: That all men are created EQUAL.

Peyton Place PLOT-Peyton Place was an American soap opera set in Peyton Place a small New England town. I can remember my mother watching it and ensuring children did not disturb her during the show which put Mia Farrow and Ryan O'Neal on the road to stardom. GENRE: Drama OPINION: That it was cool and the theme song was very pretty.
