6 Marketing Plan: Market Share and Pie Chart The percent share of the profit that 4 of us each have is 25%. The barriers that we face are our company’s main competitor North Pole Cocoa. We will overcome these barriers by having a better Hot Chocolate than our competitor in terms of quality. Our target customers are RKMS students, staff, and teachers. Competition: The products that our competitor will have is Hot Chocolate. Our major competitor is North Pole Cocoa. They will compete with us across the board. Our service is 100% customer satisfaction, which no competitor can beat. Our beverage percentage from the whole market is 21% from the whole market share due to the other competitors.

7 Marking Plan: Barriers, Customers Our barriers for sales are that our company is going to have competitive companies. The companies that we are competing against are mostly the three other beverage companies. The main customers that our company is going to have are the RKMS (Rise Kohyang Middle School) students. We are sure that there will be teachers also, but since majority of the customers are students, we will most likely be selling a lot to them.

Paulina’s Hot Chocolate will be using a Business Week Work Log to keep track of our sales. At the end, we will get half of the inventory purchased reimbursed. The remainder of the other half will be donated to the 8th grade fundraiser. At the end of the week, we will report our total earnings.

11 Sales Forecast & Actual Sales w/ Line Graph Depicting Both If you see the sales forecast, that is what we expected. At Monday we thought that since there isn’t a lot of students who knew this sales so they wouldn’t bring the money. Then Tuesday and Wednesday, they will bring the money and Thursday and Friday they will not buy it. In the actual sales, you can see that we started off with small amount but it grew bigger and bigger until it reaches Thursday then we stopped the sales on Friday.

12 Essential Questions Answered Q: How did you stay true to yourself in running a business with others? Does your business reflect who you are? A: To stay true to myself in running a business with others, we stayed associated with our group. We were opened to each others and we used each others ideas to make an amazing hot chocolate. Since we were truthful and conscientious, our business was successful and it reflected who we really are. Q: What were the challenges associated with creating and running a business and how did you overcome these challenges? A: The challenges associated with creating and running a business were having trouble agreeing on certain ideas over our opinions. By listening to each other and respecting each other, we were able to come over the challenges that were upon us. Q: If you could do it again, what would you do differently (that you control over) A: If we could do it again, we would definitely change the location of our stand. The other company had same product as our group, but because of the location we lost our potential customers.
