Atom Activity: pick an element between 1 & 20 You can build a 3D model or draw on paper. As I come around, explain to me, using your model/drawing to help you: 1.What is the # of p +, n 0 and e - for your element? 2.What is the common ion charge for your element? 3.When it’s an ion, is it a cation or anion and what is the correct name? 4.Does the element gain or lose e - ? 5.Draw/show the energy level diagram for the element. 6.How many valence e - are there and where are they found? 7.What on the Periodic Table tells you how many valence e - the element has? 8.What on the Periodic Table tells you how many energy levels the element has?
