Project Description Robo-Football Demonstration and Competition Development Intercollegiate robotic “football” competition to encourage interest in science and engineering Develop robot-based game with elements similar to American Football Develop rules of the game and design robot(s) to demonstrate its fundamental features and technology for the game

Previous Week’s Action Items Item 1: Concept and Design Requirement Refinement – Defined concept and prototype Prototype is the quarterback Air cannon for a throwing mechanism Differential steering for mobility – Added to our product design requirements – Developed trade study ideas Air cannon dimensioning Mobility modeling Cam design Kicking apparatus design Motor heat transfer modeling

Previous Week’s Action Items Item 2: Further Website Development – Added all necessary links and pop up menus – Introduction and documentation added – Standardized the layout of all of the pages

Current Status Current Graphic – Prototype sketch Design Status – Defined our prototype – Defined the concept – Defined trade studies to propose Schedule – On schedule, no show stoppers

Next Week’s Action Items Item 1: Budget and Parts List – Set our budget so we know how much money we can spend on parts for our prototype. – Develop our parts list so that we can start ordering parts. Item 2: Start Trade Studies – Finalize the variables in our trade studies – Start trade study research
