Deaf Parents Hearing Children O CODA: Child of a Deaf Adult O KODA: Kid of a Deaf Adult (this acronym is usually used for kids under the age of 18) O 90% of children born to deaf adults can hear O Some CODAs need speech therapy because they have such limited exposure to speech with their deaf parents
