Opting out of the pilot is possible when motivated And opt in is also possible

Reasons for total or partial opting out Incompatible with the Horizon 2020 obligation to protect results if they can reasonably be expected to be commercially or industrially exploited; Incompatible with the need for confidentiality in connection with security issues; Incompatible with existing rules concerning the protection of personal data; If the project will not generate / collect any research data; If there are other legitimate reasons to not take part in the Pilot
