2 License Requirements Every Alabama resident who operates any motor vehicle must have a drivers license.

3 AN ALABAMA DRIVER LICENSE IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THESE PEOPLE Any person while driving any farm tractor or implement of husbandry temporarily operated or moved on the highway. Resident 16 yrs. old who has in his immediate possession a valid drivers license issued to him in his home state or country. A non-resident who has a valid driver license from the state of previous residence may drive without an Alabama license for 30 days after becoming a resident.

4 Absolute speed the max or minimum posted speed at which one may drive under normal conditions in good weather.

5 Actual physical control a person can be charged with Driving under the influence”: DUI of alcohol or some other drug if they have the ability to move the vehicle.
