Burial Chamber - Where King Tut's mummy laid. - Filled with shrine- a box which contains ancient relics; that was over 16 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 9 feet tall. - Made of glided wood which means they were coated in gold and was inlaid with a brilliant blue porcelain. King Tut's Tomb - Robbed about two times - Found two broken necklaces - Buried deep below the surface of the Valley of the Kings. - Inside one shrine- Found the king's sarcophagus. - Two smaller coffins inside each other. Finally the third one was revealed and was entirely made of gold. - The two small coffins were mummies of two children. It is hypothesized that these were King Tut's children. He is not known to have any surviving children. Discovery

King Tut - Found dead at around the age of 18. - About 5 feet and 5 1/8 inches tall. - Name is Tutankhamun. Founders - Howard Carter - Lord Carnarvon Curse - Many different kinds. - "They who entered this sacred tomb shall be visited by the wings of death." is one of the curses. - Began when many terrible events occurred after the discovery of the tomb. - Anyone who dared to open the tomb would suffer the wrath of the mummy. - Mummies were grinded into a fine powder and sold as a mystical mummy powder. It was believed the powder had healing powers.
