Location ►Canada is located on the continent of north America ►Canada has 10 provinces and three Territories ►Newfoundland,Prince Edward Island,Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, North West Territories, Nonevent ►The official colors of the Canadian flag are red and white that come from England's cross of St.George.

History Upper and lower Canada became a country in 1867. Joined Confederation: 1871 – B.C. 1873-P.E.I. 1912-Manitoba Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories 1949-Newfoundland.

Capital city Queen Elizabeth II 1967 gave Canada 12 swans. The 12 swans turned in to a Canadian flock. you can see the swans swimming in the rideau just above the rideau falls. Queen Juliana sent seven thousand tulip bulbs to Ottawa as a thank you for her safety in World War II.

Population On July 1,1999 there where 30,491,294 people. Canada`s are; English and French. The population now is 28,846,761 people.

The Coat of Arms There are three royal lions on the coat of arms. The royal lions are ;the royal lions of Scotland, Ireland`s harp and francs`s fleur-de-lies. On the bottoms the French fleur-de-lies the Scottish thistle the inrush shamrock and the English rose. On the coat of arms the maple leafs riper sent Canada forest.

Fast Facts Canada’s capital city is Ottawa Canada`s exact size is 9,970,610 km 2. Canada`s national animal is the beaver. Near the pacific coast is botch of rain forests.
