CB-Forum Management Board n Approve CBF targets, budget and membership fees n Approve CBF working procedures and PR policy n Will decide on changes in The Marketing Steering Committee n Consist of elected Full Members n Will control “essential” and “sensitive” liaisons to external organizations n Will meet every quarter but at least twice a year

Marketing Steering Committee n The Marketing Steering Committee will guide CB-Forum work in order to ensure, that products and services eventually made by CBF members will satisfy market needs and will be widely adopted. n The Chairs of the Working Groups will be automatically member of the Marketing Steering Committee n The Marketing Steering Committee will be chaired by the Secretary.

Influencing Standardasation n Influence formal standardisation bodies (ETSI, 3GPP) via Market Representation partners (GSM Association, UMTS forum, WAP Forum) in all work regarding Cell Broadcast functions and and future related functions by setting up liaisons and proposing functional documents.

Interoperability testing n Test (via third parties) and approve all standards for CB in handsets, systems and applications

Communication n Guide and steer all communication activities of the Forum and evangelise the goodies of Cell Broadcast. n Produce white papers together with other groups
