Sharing personal knowledge over the Semantic Web ● We call personal knowledge the knowledge that is developed and shared by the users while they solve some common problems ● A lot of such knowledge is developed and shared every day in the Net, but it is not yet subject of an automated knowledge exchange ● Semantic Web technologies make automated knowledge sharing possible.

Sharing personal knowledge over the Semantic Web ● The Electronic Networks of Practice (NoP) are investigated and describe in the last years ● We use the derived characteristics to define the requirements for the software application that will automate knowledge sharing in existing NoP ● We propose implementation directions to help realizing an actual application, that fits in the specified model.

Sharing personal knowledge over the Semantic Web Terms of the proposed model ● Knowledge is described as series of transformations defined by the users. ● Users define own factors of trust of the transformations. ● User defines how much she trusts the other users. ● Based on the above we define a factor of trust of shared series of transformation.

Sharing personal knowledge over the Semantic Web Components of the proposed model ● External knowledge repository and Local knowledge repository containing the knowledge in the above terms. ● Calculation subsystem to propose problem decisions based on the knowledge in the repositories. ● User agent to communicate with the users and translate the knowledge to user specific language.
