4 The majority of fathers work (87%). The same applies to the mothers, though with a shorter percentage. It is shown that a lot of students have unemployed parents.

6 According to the charts, most of the students’ parents reached higher educational levels Most of them have acquired university diplomas or even masters.

13 Do you think that the information Published on facebook is always true? The majority of the questioned students seem to recognize that facebook information are not always trustworthy., and that in general Internet involves danger.

14 However, when asked, an important percentage of students admit that they make friends through the Internet, and agree to meet people the haven't previously met without the consensus of their parents. Of course this does not depict the total of students, but it proves to be a common phenomenon. Have you met any friends on the Internet?

15 However there is a considerable number who doesn’t have the same strict criteria. Furthermore, it appears that most of the students prefer to add people of their intimate environment (85%).

18 27. Choose the way that you reacted or you would react when you realize cyberbullying against a peer. 31% of our schoolmates would mentioned it to an adult Only 2% would made a complain to a help-line It is alarming that 2% would do nothing.

19 28. If you didn’t react, explain why We must necessarily mention that: 31% feel fear for their safety. 16,5% think that it is not their responsibility to do something. 5,5% find such messages amusing or entertaining.

20 29. Do you know what personal data is?30. Do you know how to handle it when being on line? Most students already know what personal data is and can easily carry themselves through the Internet.

There is a link between our rights and our obligations.So it is important to know our web rights and how we should behave while surfing. If someone neglects his obligations it may harm someone else’ s rights. Unfortunately only 68-64% know this fact.

23 34. How well do you find yourself on the Internet? Do you have an idea of how it works, or how search engines, web applications and online advertising systems function and do you know the rules of Netiquette? Most of the students have the appropriate knowledge of how internet works,depending on their needs. The interesting fact is that 14% are informed of the way internet works and the same rate is not informed at all.

25 36. Do you speak with your parents about your Internet activity? 37. Do your parents supervise your Internet activity? Generally, about half of the students disccuss about the Internet activity with their parents.

26 38. Do your parents apply parental control or other protective filters? Only 10% have filters or parental control, which is concerning. About the 69% there are 3 possibilities that we can explain. a) The parents have absolute trust in their children. b)The parents don’t know how to apply filters at all. c)Or the parents don’t think that it’s important.
