2. Introduction –In this presentation, I will present some activities to be done in a class of 7° grade. –It will be based on the unit: Sports. –This activities are prepared for a class of 45 minutes.

3. Learning Objectives Students will be able to: -Recognize different types of sports around the world -Recognize some famous sportmen/sportwomen -Understand a simple text related to different sports. -Prepare a presentation about a chilean sportmen / sportwomen for the next class, using the vocabulary and expression learnt in this class.

4. Warming Up Do you practice any sport? What’s your favorite sport? Who do you practice with? What are the elements needed for your sport? Can you play it alone or do you need more players? Time: 5 minutes

5. Pre-Activity Students will have to complete the different names of the sports. These are the sports in which we will be working in this class. Time: 10 minutes Resources: Worksheet

7. While Activity 1 Biography: Students have to write in their copybooks, a biography based on his/her famous sportman/sportwoman with sentences already made for the teacher. The teacher will write on the board expressions like: -My favourite sport is….. -He is from…….. -He plays….. Time: 10 minutes Resources: Copybooks

8. While Activity 2 Letter Building. –The students will have to create as many words as possible with the letter “O”. The words must be related to sports. Time: 7 minutes – Resources: Worksheet

9. Post-activity. BINGO: Teacher will read descriptions of some sports giving key words to make students guess. Students will have to discover all the sports in the bingo chart. The first to complete the bingo will win a prize. Time: 8 minutes Resources: Bingo chart
