If you have the same author with two different sources, keep moving over to the right alphabetically until you come to different letters. Jones, David. The Only Way to Travel. If you have the same author with two different sources and everything after the authors' name is alphabetically identical, then put the most recent entry first Davis, William. "Go-Carts." Encyclopedia of Cars. Chicago:World Book Inc., 2009:277-279. Davis, William. “Go-Carts.” Encyclopedia of Cars. Chicago:World Book Inc. 2003:269-87.

If there is a number in the title, go by the first letter of the number. Rutenberg, Jeff. The Digital Library. Ithica, New York:Cornell UP, 2000. ---. “The 5 Great Challenges of the Digital Age.” School Library Journal 1 November 2002:16-21. You need not write the author’s name twice. See the example below.

Al-Zaharani, Sami, Michael Milken, Myron Scholes, and Daniel Kahneman. "On Global Warming and Financial Imbalances." New Perspectives Quarterly 7.4(2006):63. When there are more than 3 authors, the Latin term et al can be used after the principle author’s name Al-Zaharani, Sami, et al. "On Global Warming and Financial Imbalances."
