6 Conch and Fire  The conch has become meaningless.  Fire has taken its place and represents the true power on the island.  Fire, which could have been used for good, is now captured and serves a bestial master and his bestial desires.  Fire is now power. Type up an entry for each of them following the raid on Ralph’s camp. I WILL COLLECT YOUR TYPED UP ANSWERS JOURNAL ENTRIES TOMORROW IN CLASS!  How will Ralph and the others make fire now?  Will they get Piggy’s glasses back?  Suppose Ralph and Jack had both been keeping diaries/journals of their experiences.
