Overview of Training Full District Administration Specific Specialized Administrations

Full District Training Decide which groups to train –General Security vs. Test Specific Technology Custodians District Staff Who Will Act as Test Monitors Attend the ESC Training –If possible bring your CTC’s Check with individual ESC regarding policy Train principals on test security

Administration Specific Consider breaking out training into separate groups –Elementary –Middle –High Standardization of powerpoints –Powerpoints for CTC’s to ensure that the information is consistent Create powerpoints for TA’s by pulling out slides that are specific to CTC’s Work days for CTC –Allow CTC’s to receive assistance in how to account for and prepare materials for testing.

Administration Specific TELPAS and STAAR-Alt –Timeline District versus State –Don’t wait until the end. Backup the deadline to allow for makeup testing. STAAR-M –During the ARD committee meeting, you will need to complete the Participation Requirements document with assurances that student should be taking the test.

Specialized Training Trainings for special administrations –OA, STAAR-L, Dyslexia, answer document coding Moodles/Breeze, pre-prepared presentations will ensure standardization in training –Can distribute to individual test administrators to view or bring in as a group No need to create - just share and adapt
