2.  Is a story or tale with two or more levels of meaning  “ Romeo and Juliet” is a good example for this word because in the story there is love and hate, Romeo loves Juliet but their families hate each other. Pg.770  This story was an interesting allegory story. 

3.  is a form of nonfictional in which the writer tells a story of another person.  “from s Lincolns preface” is a biography.  Many people write biographies about presidents of the united states. 

4.  is a portrait in words of a person, place, or an object.  It is found in “A Celebration of Grandfathers” on pg. 662. it was written by Rudolfo A. Anaya.  that person had a very poor description. 

5.  Is a writing or speech that explains a process or present information.  in the story the “inspector-general Anton Chekhov” it tells the setting and has to charters talking to each other all at the same time. Pg 358.  the exposition of the story was very well said. 

6.  is a word or phrase that appeals to one or more of the five senses sight, hear, touch, taste, smell.  a good ex. For image is on pg.669 “understanding comics” by Scott McCloud.  the story had a really good image of a baseball. 

7.  Is the writing that tells a story.  “Romeo and Juliet” has a narrator in the story. On pg. 770 by William Shakespeare.  The narration of the story was very enjoyable. 

8.  Is the ordinary form of writing language.  can be found as a fiction and nonfiction story. Ex. “Go deep to the sewer” by bill Crosby is a nonfictional.  the author chose prose as his writing language 

9.  Is a fourteen line lyric poem usually written in rhymed iambic pentameter.  If found in the “sonnet” on pg. 960 by William Shakespeare.  the author wrote a sonnet about a basketball player. 
