The word Rendition U.S agency wanted to be able to move suspected terrorists. It was supposed to be only under extraordinary circumstances but after 9/11 the U.S governments has authorised the seizure to transfer anyone they suspect of being in terrorism to secret prison outside of the U.S. U.S agency wanted to be able to move suspected terrorists. Plot Summary Rendition centres on the controversial CIA practice of extraordinary rendition. Its also based on the true story. An investigation leads to an Egyptian who has been living in the United States for years and who is married to an American. He is kidnapped when he's on his way home. The U.S. sends him to the country where the incident occurs for interrogation which includes torture. An American CIA observes the interrogation and is at odds whether to keep it going or to stop it. In the meantime, the man's wife raises hell to find him despite being pregnant but the person behind this extraordinary rendition refuses to help or give her any information. Do they have a ideological agenda? Some may say that Rendition makes the U.S look bad. That they give in to interrogation. But what the film it’s trying to show the lengths of things the U.S will go into anything to saves people lives. Some may say that Rendition makes the U.S look bad. Good - “There are 7,000 people in central London alive tonight, because of information that we elicited just this way.” Bad - In the film they kidnapped an innocent who they thought to believe was a terrorist suspect. Does torturing work? Does torturing work? In the torture scene the man gives in and confesses but towards the end of the film the man was actually lying because he would rather die then handle anymore agony He is innocent or guilty? He is innocent or guilty? Throughout the film there is a rollercoaster as to whether he is innocent or guilty. However what the film does not explain the phone calls?? 0.o

How realistic is the film? The film a touching on a very sensitive subject. So they always try to show both side of the argument.
