2 Students research, collect images, music, and information to produce music presentations that stimulate discussion. Images, Music, Information

3 Discussion, Analysis, Action We watch and listen, ask questions, discuss significance, analyze what it means for us, the U.S., the world.

4 Action, Action, Action Dove went outside of the norm by using older women in their pro-age line of products. Guerrilla Girls made billboards and posters that revealed the limited opportunities for women artists. Women – young and old -- took action.

8 So, one student revitalized the campus gender group….

9 Two students applied and were accepted to attend the National Education for Women NEW Leadership workshop…. http://www.mtmary.edu/womensleadership.htm

10 Other students put on a concert with speakers, a silent auction, and food drive to raise over $700 for the local women’s shelter ….

11 “The rigid ideals of manhood is a cost to boys and to society.” Doesn’t the father play just as big of a part in conception as the mother? This student used her art to make people think about gender stereotypes, childrearing, and society’s blindness towards the gendered nature of school shootings (male perpetrators).
