1 Overall content limit Limit for content Do not exceed Limit for content Do not exceed Limit for Title Do not exceed 11mm 1 TRC (Time Related Charges) allows you to claim payment for any pre-approved additional work that you complete on a task. Please see details below containing important information regarding TRC and guidelines that must be followed. It is imperative that you book all information correctly and accurately on your tablet when closing a task. Pre-Authorisation A TRC can only be raised where a task has a pre-authorised ‘TRC Banding’. The TRC Banding determines how many hours have been pre-authorised by the Communication Provider. You can find this information in your Job Notes. The Banding will either be 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or 99:99 Hours. Where the banding is 99:99 hours this represents an unlimited amount of time that has been pre-authorised. If a task has no TRC Banding Hours then a TRC cannot be raised against that task. Types of TRC There are currently two types of TRC; Work Completed Up To the NTE and Work Completed Beyond the NTE. Work Completed Up To the NTE For a BASIC task the internal fit should take up to 1 hour. Anytime spent completing the internal fit over the first hour can be claimed as chargeable time. Please provide this information on your tablet for the question [Duration beyond allotted time for int fit (nearest 5 minutes)]. For a PREMIUM task the internal fit should take up to 2 hours, anytime spent over 2 hours can be claimed as chargeable. Please note the time spent on the internal fit should be measured from the point of fixing once dial tone is present. Please ensure you answer the question [Where was the NTE provided/existed] accurately and specifically. You must provide the room name. Entering a blank, a dot or ‘EU’s home’ will result in the TRC being invalid. TRC – Time Related Charges

Work Completed Beyond the NTE Any time spent completing work beyond the NTE can be chargeable. Please enter this information when answering the questions [Was additional work completed beyond the NTE] and [Total duration spent beyond NTE (nearest 5 minutes)]. For a task to have a TRC Beyond the NTE you must detail the additional work you have provided. This could be one or a combination of the following – TRC – Time Related Charges Removal of Star Wiring beyond NTE Upgraded extension socket wiring Commissioning and test of EC extension socket Face plate upgraded at the extension socket Removal of old extension wiring Extension Provided Extension Socket Provided Repair Faulty Extension Re-terminated extension Re-locating extension Simply answer Yes or No to the individual question relating to each of the above. Please ensure you select at least one of the above if you have completed work beyond the NTE. You must also ensure you answer the question [Person who agreed the work] accurately and specifically. You must provide the full name of the customer. Entering a blank, a dot or ‘EU’ will result in the TRC being invalid.

Please follow these rules : - If you are claiming TRC time for Up to the NTE the [Chargeable start time] for a BASIC task must be at least 1 hour after your [On site time]. (It can be later than 1 hour after but not earlier). For a PREMIUM task it must be at least 2 hours later. If you are not claiming any TRC time for Up to the NTE, but are claiming TRC time Beyond the NTE, then your [Chargeable start time] can be anytime after your [On site time]. Your [Finish Time] must be at least equal to your [Chargeable start time] plus the sum of the TRC timings you have entered, i.e. the sum of [Duration beyond allotted time for int fit (nearest 5 minutes)] and [Total duration spent beyond NTE (nearest 5 minutes)]. (Your [Finish Time] can be later than your [Chargeable start time] plus total TRC time but cannot be earlier). Worked example 1 – TRC Up-to and Beyond NTE You are on a BASIC task with a TRC banding of 99:99 hours and arrive on site at 10:00am. No NTE exists at the property. Your [Chargeable start time] must therefore be no earlier than 11:00am. You start the internal fit at 10:30am. At 11:30am you are still completing the internal fit. Therefore your [Chargeable start time] is 11:30am. You finish the internal fit at 11:50am. Therefore your [Duration beyond allotted time for int fit (nearest 5 minutes)] is 20 minutes. The customer has asked you to do the following; provide an extension with socket and remove old extension wiring. You complete this work agreed by the customer in 50 minutes. Therefore your [Total duration spent beyond NTE (nearest 5 minutes)] is 50 minutes. Your total time spent on TRC is 1 hour 10 minutes. Therefore your [Finish Time] must be no earlier than 1 hour 10 minutes after your [Chargeable start time], therefore no earlier than 12:40pm. TRC – Time Related Charges

No NTE exists at the property. Your [Chargeable start time] must therefore be no earlier than 14:00pm. You start the internal fit at 13:30pm. At 14:30pm you are still completing the internal fit. Therefore your [Chargeable start time] is 11:30am. You finish the internal fit at 13:55pm. Therefore your [Duration beyond allotted time for int fit (nearest 5 minutes)] is 25 minutes. You have asked the customer if they wish for any additional work beyond the NTE, the customer has respectfully declined. Your total time spent on TRC is 25minutes. Therefore your [Finish Time] must be no earlier than 25 minutes after your [Chargeable start time], therefore no earlier than 13:55pm. Worked example 3 – TRC Beyond NTE only You are on a BASIC task with a TRC banding of 99:99 hours and arrive on site at 09:00am. The NTE already exists at the property. The [Duration beyond allotted time for int fit (nearest 5 minutes)] is therefore 0 minutes. The customer has asked you to do the following; provide two extensions with sockets and remove old extension wiring. Your [Chargeable start time] is the exact time your start completing the additional work beyond the NTE. In this example it is 09:30am. You complete this work agreed by the customer in 50 minutes. Therefore your [Total duration spent beyond NTE (nearest 5 minutes)] is 1 hour 20 minutes. Your total time spent on TRC is 1 hour 20 minutes. Therefore your [Finish Time] must be no earlier than 1 hour 20 minutes after your [Chargeable start time], therefore no earlier than 10:50am. TRC – Time Related Charges
