What does this policy make illegal or propose to do? What are the penalties for breaking this law? Does this policy provide funding for different organizations and if so, who? Policy Identification and Explanation Addresses your policy’s exact name and number Says which agency/agencies passed this policy Clearly identifies what the policy makes illegal, or proposes to do Defines the penalties for breaking the law Explains the funding needed toward organizations to support the policy Complete and thorough explanation of policy Typically split into two parts: Part (paragraph?) 1 : “Legal jargon” – the law or policy, identify the agencies involved Part (paragraph?) 2 : Specifics – complete, thorough explanation of the logistics of the policy. What does it make illegal? Penalties? Funding? EXPLAIN WHAT LAW DOES

State: the law or policy include the law’s name and number Identify the governmental agency/agencies involved Paragraph Two: An explanation of what your policy says in YOUR WORDS, so the reader can understand. What does the law make illegal? What are the penalties for breaking this law (if any)? Does the law provide funding for different organizations? Explain exactly what your law does.
