Narcissus By: Brian Roche 2 nd Period Language Arts

Introduction Narcissus is the son of the river-god Kephisos. Narcissus is from the town of Thespian in Boeotia. He celebrated his beauty.

Background Narcissus had been liked by many girls but he had rejected them. Instead of girls narcissus fell in love with his own reflection. Narcissus had watched his reflection all the time.

Claim to Fame Narcissuses enemy is his own reflection because he had fallen in love with it and it had caused him to die. Narcissus had no powers all he loved his his reflection so much that he died because of starvation. His story of fame was staring at himself in the reflection of the pond.

Downfall Narcissus downfall was starvation and dieing because he was staring at himself. He wouldn’t eat because he was to busy staring at his reflection.
