2 Coefficient of Variation Coefficient of Variation = Standard Deviation / Mean

3 Coefficient of Variation Answer: Find the standard deviation and mean of nonfiltered. Then remember the coefficient of variation = standard deviation / mean. – Same technique for the filtered. – Store the data in a list, for example L 1, and move the cursor to the first blank space at the end of the data. – Press 2nd, LIST and move the cursor to MATH. – Press 7 to paste stdDev( to the bottom of the list screen. – Press 2nd, L 1, ), and then press the divide symbol. – Press 2nd, LIST, move the cursor to MATH, and press 3 for mean( – Press 2nd, L 1, close the parentheses and then press ENTER to display the CV as the last number in L 1.

5 Chebyshev’s Theorem Using Chebyshev’s Theorem

6 Chebyshev’s Theorem If we find within 3 standard deviations we use Then to find the max or min heights we take 3 * 6cm = 18 cm and subtract and add from the mean Minimum height = 161 – 18 = 143 Maximum height = 161 + 18 = 179
