4 Summary Good progress has been made in reducing the number of organisations within Path 5, the Known Unknown’s, the number of organisation with no stated plans has reduced by 36%. GP Transition - working with NHS England to channel communications and coordination of transition with GP practices and CCG’s. A survey to ascertain the intentions of the GP estate has been sent and the data will be analysed in early January. Survey results being analysed to understand CCG/ practice intentions i.e. switch to another system or stay with existing system. Practices will still have to follow GPSOC processes even if they wish to stay with TPP system1. Plans being formulated, using the information gathered from CCGs to develop a timeline for transition Procurement routes are being identified we are aiming to understand organisations potential procurement routes. There are two initiatives which are of interest over and above either independently followed OJEU or existing frameworks such as LPP. These are: –G-Cloud –CIS SBS  SBS framework – formal notification of successful bidders at end of January.  For both frameworks (Gcloud and SBS) HSCIC are developing a set of materials to assist organisations who want to use either/both of the frameworks. Timeline for this is next 3 – 4 months. 4

5 Summary Continued.. Process for decommissioning has highlighted a number of inefficiencies in respect to processing the necessary approvals with NHS organisations and proposals to overcome these have been discussed with the CSC LSP Programme Board. –Reminder to organisations to process DNF Efficiently NHS Stakeholder Forum – linked to Programme Governance being launched in New Year, currently inviting expressions of interest Workshops to aid transitioning organisation with Data Migration & Repatriation being organised for Jan / Feb 2015 (Leeds 28 th Jan ‘All LSP products’ Birmingham 11 th Feb ‘Non TPP’,Cambridge 25 th Feb ‘TPP Products’) 5
