Journal Requirements 1.Every subject requires a journal, especially the core areas. 2.The composition notebooks are the preferred means for journals. 3.Every journal must have a table of contents. 4.Every entry must be dated. 5.Consistent use of journal must be evident. 6.Authentic writing is preferred to glued in worksheets. 7.Work in journal must be complete. 8.Journals only go home when students have to study for a test. 9.Reflection of learning must be evident. 10.Journals must have teacher feedback.
