10 Practical Concerns  Is the distress craft in immediate distress?  Can SRU handle the weather conditions?  Do you have enough information?  Can the SRU realistically be of assistance?  Survivors? Number, and logistics?  Is a helicopter involved? SAR Operation Risks IAMSAR Vol. 3, Ch. 3
