3 Redesigned Navigation Experience M-marketsite 5.0 brings a fully redesigned Navigation experience, offering a more efficient screen display and paving the way for future product enhancements. The biggest change is the creation of a more logical navigation structure. All navigation menus that were previously located on the left-hand side of the application have been nested under the realigned horizontal menus at the top of the page. Benefits: 20% increase in screen width: The additional space helps prevent the screen clutter, resulting in increased readability. In some cases, this additional space prevents the need for horizontal scrolling. Menus are easily accessible: With the new navigation, users do not have to continually move to the left of the screen to make the desired menu selection. The sub-menus are available just below the top-level navigation menu, reducing the distance for mouse travel between clicks. Menu options are more visible for selection, reducing confusion and the need to “hunt” for the correct menu option.

4 Redesigned Navigation Experience Release 4.3, users navigate throughout the application by means of a top-level menu bar and a left- hand menu bar. The user first makes a selection from the top- level menu bar and then selects the appropriate left menu. Top level navigation Left menu navigation The new 5.0 navigation puts the left- hand menu beneath the realigned navigation menu. New location of left hand menu

5 Header Bar Updates Header updates include both minor rearrangement and some additional new functionality. Benefits: The addition of the my profile link to the header provides a quick link to the user’s profile screen. This becomes especially useful in that users will not need to add profile as a main navigation item, thereby reserving space for other frequently used menus. Moving the logout link to the left side of the header makes it more prominent and results in having all of the “user” functions in one specific area. Relocating the screen title to the header saves screen space. With this change, additional information can be displayed in the viewing area, and therefore reduce the need for scrolling. The one exception to this change is the current cart screen displays the cart name at the top of the main screen for easy reference. Altering the shopping cart to display on a single line provides additional room for the new quick search feature. The quick search enhancement provides users with the ability to search for a wide variety of items directly from the header regardless of what screen they are on. This is a great benefit in that users do not have to navigate from screen to screen to find the information they need.

6 Header Bar Updates My profile link has been added to the header. Providing a quick link to the user’s profile screen. Logout link has been moved to the left side of the header. Shopping cart is now displays on a single line. New quick search enhancement is added to the header regardless of what screen you are on. Screen titles have been relocated to the header.

7 Header Bar Updates New Navigation – Quick Search Release 4.3, navigation did not have a quick search. The new 5.0 quick search enhancement has been added to the top-right corner of the header regardless of what screen you are on. The New quick search enhancement provides users with the ability to search for a variety of items directly from the header regardless of what screen they are on. This is a great benefit in that users do not have to navigate from screen to screen to find the information they need. Users should populate the search box and press enter to execute the search.

8 Multi-item Quick Order search The Multiple Quick Order Searching enhancement allows end users to search for up to five catalog items at once. Benefits: Quick Order search results (both successes and failures) will be displayed in an Add to Cart Confirmation window, located to the left of the Quick Order Search interface.

9 Multi-item Quick Order search Products with more than one search result will have a Search button to perform an individual search for that catalog number. Quick Order search results (both successes and failures) will be displayed in a Add to Cart Confirmation window, located to the left of the Quick Order Search interface. The Multiple Quick Order Search enhancement in the new 5.0 release allows end users to search for up to five catalog items at once.

10 Browse by Category Screens Modified The Browse by Category screens will be changed slightly so that the hierarchy starts at the vertical level as opposed to the top-level categories. Beside each vertical is the same icon that is shown on the product search screen. Benefits: This change will help users find their desired products more easily. Additionally, it will help to organize the categories, allowing for a much cleaner display.
