My Career Vision I would like to become a Business Teacher Or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) I like working with numbers, money, and people I would like to work as an accounting clerk to help me earn money for school

A Few Career Possibilities Accounting Clerks –Two years of high school accounting –An associate degree in college –Work as Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk CPAs –College degree –Pass CPA test –Work for a large company

More Career Choices Lawyers, Doctors, Farmers, CEO –May not do accounting directly –Need to know about accounting –Should take an accounting class in high school or college –Will need to make business decisions Accounting Teachers –College degree in Business –Minor or classes in accounting

My Goal Take accounting in high school Work in the office of a local business Graduate from high school with a 3.8 GPA Attend college & earn an Associate Degree Graduate from college with a Business Degree Take classes in Accounting Get a teaching certificate Teach in a rural community

Education & Training Taking high school Accounting Learning spreadsheets & other computer applications Plan to do School to Work in for a local accountant Plan to go to college at USU in their Business Information Systems program
