Neptune’s facts It is currently the eighth planet from the sun. It has a total of 13 moons From Earth, it is 4.3 billion km or 2.68 billion miles.

Neptune’s great Dark spot The Great Dark spot on Neptune is actually a hole in the atmosphere! It is composed of methane gas I It can also change size and shape.

Triton It is the largest moon that Neptune has. It is one of the few moons that has a weak atmosphere and that could support life.

The Interior of Neptune. The only thing that is visible is the atmosphere. Then it is the mantle that is made up of methane ice. The giant planets don’t have a surface.

Facts about Neptune It is currently 4.46 billion Km or 2.77 billion miles from the sun. It diameter is 49,493 Km or 30,760 miles. It is currently 4.3 billion Km or 2.68 billion miles. Its current temp. on top of the clouds are -210o C ( -346o F). It takes 17.24 hours to Complete a single rotation Its planetary symbol is this.
