SOUTHWEST PATHWAYS CONFERENCE The 2016 Southwest Pathways Conference is uniquely focused on an issue central to the future of our economy and society: how we can build an education and workforce development system that will provide ALL young adults with multiple pathways to economic independence. The conference is organized and hosted by the Global Pathways Institute at Arizona State University in partnership with the Arizona Business & Education Coalition and WestEd’s West Comprehensive Center. The 2016 conference will bring together cross-sector teams from 10 Southwestern and Western states — as well as national leaders from business, education, government and philanthropy — to share knowledge, experience, ideas and best practices. Our goal is to forge an agenda and call to action dedicated to preparing far more young adults for success. May 2 - 4, 2016 | DoubleTree Resort Scottsdale, Arizona

THE SOUTHWEST PATHWAYS CONFERENCE: A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESS The inaugural Southwest Pathways Conference was held in May 2015 at Arizona State University. Highlights included: A Full House — The conference attracted a capacity crowd of 350 leaders from education, business, government and non-profit organizations. Five states sent cross-sector leadership teams: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah. Rave Reviews — Of the attendees responding to our post-conference survey, 92% said they would or might recommend the conference to a colleague. Representative Comments — “The quality was spectacular, the organization was flawless, and the facilities were great. The most successful aspect was the amazing number of truly stellar and varied speakers. I couldn't pick a favorite panel!” “It was a good opportunity to network with a large diversity of people/roles in developing pathways. We don't often have an opportunity, even as a state, to get all of the players in one place for any significant amount of time.”
