Activity Instructions (In preparation for activity students conduct research on Ben Franklin and his inventions) 1. Students pair up in groups 2. Groups are assigned an invention to discuss 3. Groups are given a portion of an article discussing their invention ( http://www.pbs.org/benfranklin/l3_inquiring_little.html )http://www.pbs.org/benfranklin/l3_inquiring_little.html 4. Groups are given a graphic organizer to aide in discussion ( http://freeology.com/graphicorgs/faux-facebook-profile-worksheet/ )http://freeology.com/graphicorgs/faux-facebook-profile-worksheet/ 5. Note cards are passed out 6.Both students in each group write interview questions they would ask Ben Franklin about his invention 7. Students take turns as Ben Franklin and interview each other using their questions 8. All groups share with each other interesting interview questions about the various inventions
