Structured range of Data Structured references make it much easier to work with table data when you are using formulas that reference a table, either portions of a table or the entire table. They are especially useful because table data ranges often change, and the cell references for structured references adjust automatically. This minimizes the need to rewrite formulas as rows and columns are added and deleted in a table, or when external data is refreshed. Panayiotis Christodoulou

Create Table Select A1 and click Ctrl + T or Insert tab Table Make sure the My table has headers box is checked and click OK. Panayiotis Christodoulou

In cell E2, type an equal sign (=), and click cell C2. In the formula bar, the structured reference [@[Sales Amount]] appears after the equal sign. Type an asterisk (*) directly after the closing bracket., and click cell D2. In the formula bar, the structured reference [@[% Commission]] appears after the asterisk. Press Enter.
